I’m finding that as I go to events and introduce myself as a Holistic Virtual Assistant, I’m often greeted by surprise and confusion. As I explain further what I can do to help a business flourish, the confusion moves into comprehension and the smiles start to spread… followed by ‘wow – I had no idea there were people like you out there’ is usually what follows.
I guess in any new business you have to educate people. I thought that would be about the services I could provide and the difference I could make to a client’s business – the results I could deliver. Maybe I might be explaining what Holistic meant, or who my ideal clients were… I had no idea that I would be explaining the existence of a profession so many people have never even heard of!
